On the 14th May 2002, nearly 36,000 people turned out at the Stadium of Light for Niall Quinn's Testimonial.
The Sunderland shirt was worn in that game by Mickey Gray who was Sunderland's captain.
Lovely worn shirt with full game details embroidered on the shirt.
Only one of these we have seen and a lovely addition to the collection.
The Ireland shirt was match worn by Mark Kinsella and has full game details embroidered on the shirt.
The shirt is exceptionally rare for one reason - it has an Eircom logo across the front; Ireland rarely play in matches with a sponsor logo on their shirts - it is not permitted by FIFA in any full international. Therefore, they can only use shirts of this type in testimonial / benefit matches.
